6th Patient for Medical Emergency Relief Project

We adopted the 6th patient under this mission from the Batala area of Gurdaspur District. Sardar Mahavir Singh ji, Chief Conservator Punjab, is the motivator as well as one of the donors of the project. Patient Sukhraj Singh is a blood cancer patient under treatment at PGI Chandigarh. Jagriti Foundation has collected Rs 1.60 lakh for his treatment and paid Rs 80000 to his family in his village on June 10.

Sukhraj (Cancer Patient) & his uncle welcomed the members. The family is living in a Small House consisting of a Room, Kitchen & Washroom. The morale of the Family was good. Sukhraj is suffering from cancer from 2-3 years now and was getting treatment from Amritsar and then shifted to PGI Chandigarh. His condition was much worse few weeks ago but now he is recovering well but require frequent visit to the hospital for Chemotherapy & Other tests.

Jagriti members handed over the first installment of Rs 80,000/0 via Cheque to the family. Sukhraj is a fighter and he has promised us to be positive about his health. Sukhraj’s uncle also talked to Mahavir Ji and thanked him for this noble initiative.
