UNIVERSITY COLLEGE CAREER COUNSELLING & PLACEMENT CELL AT UNIVERSITY COLLEGE NIARI

As envisaged in our scholarship/fellowship Award Project that was circulated on January 3, 2021, Jagriti had proposed to work with College administration to run Career Counselling and Placement Cell to guide and help students in gainful employment. With efforts put in with the learned OSD Dr BS MANHAS, Jagriti Foundation is able to collaborate in a joint venture on PPP Mode in starting this cell in the college which would be inaugurated by the honourable MLA Pathankot Mr Amit Vij on 20.01.2021, on the day we are going to distribute 34 fellowships.

    It is a piece of great news and it is going to be another milestone in the progress of jagriti Foundation that will try to help students in their career settlement.

    In this cell, the Chairman will be ex-officio Principal/OSD with a College Faculty as Secretary. Jagriti would be the advisor and give necessary support yo the cell and I would be the Advisor on behalf of the Trust. We would include all the 34 Awardee if they would be interested plus there would be about 83 students of the Final Year classes from the different streams of the college. Requisition Form or Biodata Form has also been drafted and Cell would have its own office in the college.

 We would try to hold placement interviews in the campus and help in career settlement of the members. Jagriti hopes this would a practical Forum to help the students to choose a further career and in the settlement in meaningful employment. Each student would be our asset and we would try to devote personal attention to her/his needs.
