Keys of Jagriti Foundation Home-2 are handed over to Ms Suman, a resident of the village Darwan in Dhar block of the Pathankot distt in a small but descent gathering. S Shivdular Singh Dhillon, IAS and Chairman, Punjab Tourism was the chief guest. Other dignitaries present were S Pritpl Singh Panu, President of an NGO of international fame NIFFA , its Vice President S Gurmeet Sachdeva and members Jagriti Foundation. He had visited the Phangota Vally and enclosed the beauty of Valley in his camera. He has visited most of the natural beauties worldwide. The Dhar block has a tremendous potential of tourism in future and he will look into some viable plans to promote tourism , he promised. He suggested many tips particularly the cleanliness where the Jagriti Foundation, with the cooperation of locals can contribute.
S Pritpal Singh Panu had come all the way from Karnal despite his busy schedule, to grace the occasion. He handed over the memento and a citation to the Jagriti Foundation for its participation in a mega International event of BLOOD DONATION organized on the martyrdom day of S Bhagat Singh on 23, March 2021.
In this event Jagriti Foundation has contributed 50 units of blood in the camp which it organised in Sukhjindera college at Dunera in the DHAR Kalan block. It is pertinent to mention that out of 127675 registrations 97744 units of blood was collected from 1476 blood donation camps organized in various countries all over the world .
In the end Dr Balbir Singh Manhas gave the vote of thanks to the guests and the other participants. After this delicious lunch war served by the village sarpanch.
