DARBAN VILLAGE MODEL VILLAGE CONCEPT

First, all Trust would engage the Department of Planning and Architecture of Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar to conduct Socioeconomic Survey and prepare the master plan of the village.

We will try to emulate the Mawlynnong village Model located in Khasi Hills of Meghalaya State, which is known as the cleanest village of Asia. To make a Darban a cleanest and Role model Village of India for which we will like to use our Trust Funds,Donors Funds,CSR Funds, MP LAD Funds and Govt scheme initiatives, etc.

Will try to make it cleanest with the eradication of the Lantana Weed Plan in the village Residential areas. We will start the Model Village Project with the up-gradation of Village Govt. Primary School, which is in bad condition as our first model village Project as our First Step as will accord top priority to Education of the village Kids.

• We will upgrade Panchayat  Bhawan, which is in dilapidated condition.

•  We will try to improve Waterworks along with the Water Supply Department of Punjab Govt.

•   We will try to raise Tree or Forest Coverage in a joint venture with the Eco Sikh NGO.

• We will try to promote the Self Help Group of Women.

• We will raise self Help Group of Men for promoting organic crops like Haldi.

•  We will try to promote Ethnic Village Tourism on the Model of famous Gandhi Asharam of Kasuni in Uttarkhand.

• We will try to help Poor and Landless in Housing.

• We will solemnize the marriage of very Poor girls of the village.

• Overall we want to make it best Village of the Punjab State as Role Model.

•  We will try to educate and provide health and dental check-up facilities in the village by organizing Days camps.
