FIRST EVER BLOOD DONATION CAMP IN DHAR AREA HELD AT ALPHENSTOCK WORLD SCHOOL

 As part of national wide and international efforts held at over 1400 places which were initiated by the National Integrated Forum of Artists and Activists (NIFAA) Karnal, Jagriti Foundation took proud to participate and rather successfully culminated the great event.  Jagriti Foundation proudly announces the successful completion of the noblest human act, the donation of Blood at an impressive event held at the newly launched Alphenstock World School at Dunera on 23.03.2021. the camp was organised in the beautiful premises of a World-class school that has been launched by Dr Gursimranjit Singh Gill as its Director. The camp was held under the command of Acting Managing Trustee  Adv. Yash Paul Sharma who is the former tehsildar of the Pathankot.

The main highlight of the camp was as under:

 Our Foundation was able to motivate about 65 blood donors who got themselves registered at the camp but after medical scrutiny, only 50 could donate blood given the medical specialist opinion.

 The camp saw enthusiasm among the youth of the area with  Sarpanch Pallavi Thakur from Hara and Dr BS Manhas Principal GND University Niari clinching as the main motivator by creating awareness among the youth to donate the blood for the service of humanity. Foundation put on record the service rendered by the duo to human values and needs. Incidentally, Pallavi is the Foundation Brand Ambassador and Dr Manhas is our associate as Project Director of Education.

The camp was to be inaugurated by the honourable DC Pathankot who could not make it in time and accordingly deputed Mr Rajesh  Verma District Revenue Officer Pathankot who inaugurated the camp and highlighted the role of the jagriti foundation and the importance of Blood donation to .the youth.

 The camp was well organised with the logistic support of the management of the Alphenstock World School Dunera with Er. SS Gill as its Chairman and Founder. Without the unflinching support of the management, the camp would not have been successful.

 The participants at the camp were enthralled with the Bhakti and Suffi Sangeet courtesy of the arrangement made by Trustee Shammi Choudhary who is himself an artist of repute.

Each volunteer was granted an Appreciation Certificate of Donation as received from the NIFAA direct with the digital signature of a score of a great person in various fields who lend support to the cause.

On this occasion, Jagriti presented a donation of Rs 1.50 LACS  As a Helping Hand in the shape of a Cheque for the treatment of Mr Chaghar Singh of Village Sarti who is under treatment at PGI.

  Jagriti would be part of the efforts of NIFAA in creating a World Guinness Book Record in one-day blood donation and hope to do more joint projects for the welfare of the Dhar area in the year 2021-22.
