Highlights from the 2nd Annual Award Function & Cultural Evening of Jagriti

The Second Annual Award function and cultural evening of Jagriti foundation Charitable trust was held at the beautiful Hunky Dory resorts , Niari, Dhar kalan on 7th December 24 . It was attended by Patrons, trustees , project directors .members from Jagriti foundation and distinguished guests Pathankot. District & Sessions Judge Sardar ĴPS khurmi was a chief guest.

Sh Dharamveer Dairu IFS DFO Pathankot was guest of Honour. Speaking on the occassion the managing trustee of the foundation Shri RPS Walia apprised the audience about the purpose, functioning and achievements of the trust during the year . He also told about the forthcoming events, projects of the foundation which are undertaken with the aim of uplifting the education and health standards of the areas of Dhar kalan Chamba and Nurpur and also to bring the beautiful Phangota valley of Pathankot on the tourist map of India

During the event Appreciation certificates and awards were given to the ground level workers of the foundation and lifetime achievement award was conferred upon Shri Joginder Singh Ji Trustee for his voluntary and monetary contribution since the time he is got associated not only with the Jagriti foundation and also in the areas of Pilibhit , UP where he is working as a President of sugar mills.
On this occasion chief guest JPS khurmi honored Col Ashok Thakur for being the best volunteer & project director of the foundation during the year 2023-24.

Speaking on the occasion is Sh khurmi thanked the foundation for the noble work which they are doing in the area of Dhar kalan, nurpur and Chamba He told the audience that before getting associated with the NGO Jagriti foundation he had Undertaken the survey, study and interaction to find out the credibility and effectiveness of various project being undertaken by the Jagriti Foundation and he was glad that the noble work being done is really making a difference in the lives of the community. He urged everyone who take out sometime and resources out of the busy life to work towards up lifting the downtrodden and the needy people of this back word area.

Trustee Deepak Maini who hosted dinner along with leading Social Activist Rishu Pradhan ji acted as host and thanked everyone to bless the event.
