Jagriti Emergency Medical Relief Fund(JEMRF)

Our interaction with the people of Dhar has brought a startling fact that people of the Dhar lack medical services for there is no private or Government Medical facility worth name. The only one PHC at Dunera lacks even a pure basic facility with no medical staff to look after the medical needs of the poor patients who are left to their fate. We have found many critically ill patients need immediate and emergent medical help failing their life would be in danger. We have met kidney and cancer patients recently from the area, who are just helpless for want of medical care and also left to the mercy of greedy private hospitals which most of the Dhar residents are unable to pay.  In our AGM held on March 04, 2021, our Governing body mooted Rs 50000 emergency funds for critically ill patients during the year 2021-22. But practically such small money will not be sufficient to cater to the needs of poor critical patients of Dhar Block that may come to us for relief

Accordingly, jagriti has mooted “ Jagriti  Medical Emergency Relief Fund (JMERF)” exclusively only for the Critically Ill patients of Dhar Block.

The salient feature of the scheme is as follows:

•  The scheme will only apply to critically patients needing emergency relief.
• Efforts will be made to get such patients as admitted to Govt hospitals like PGI as possible.
• Due efforts will be made to avail facility under Ayushman Bharat Scheme if the patient is eligible in the case of an eligible patient, Fundraising request would be made to the members or non-members on Jagriti Social Media including Website, Facebook and Whatsapp.
• Funds raised for a particular patient would be exclusively used for his/her treatment and his post-treatment welfare and recovery as possible.
•   Due help of the Govt  Civil Hospital and CivilSergon of Pathankot would be facilitated.
•  The medical emergency will apart from the other welfare projects such as Blood Donation camp under The Health Mission of the Foundation.
•   Under this Programme,  efforts would be made to Designate a Project Director either from the Govt hospital or the Private hospital of Pathankot as Project Director to coordinate efforts.
