PROCEEDING FOR THE SECOND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) HELD ON FEB 12,2022.

As scheduled our Foundation AGM was held on Feb 12, 2022, at University College Niari Dhar kalan,courtesy Principal Dr BS Manhas

The AGM was attended by the followings:

AGM was chaired by Managing  Trustee RPS Walia and proceedings were conducted by Dr BS Manhas Project Director Education.

Item wise Agenda was taken up and the following decisions were taken:

1.Brief welcome address of the Managing Trustee:

The Managing Trustee read out his brief address outlining the progress made with promise for the future.

2.To approve the proceedings of the last physical meeting held on november 15, 2021:AGM approved the last meeting held on 15.11.2021 .

3. To present the Audit and Income Tax Return for the year 2020-21 and allied matters relating to application for Charitable organization.

AGM approved the income Tax Return for 2020-21  and members were explained the efforts being made for filing return and recognition of the trust for 80 G Exemptions.

4. To present the progress report for the current year 2021-22 uptodate:

The MT presented the current work done report with work being done to the entire satisfaction of all the members.

5. To discuss the progress of the Trustee Fee to be paid by our learned Trustees:

Till now only RPS Walia, Shammi Choudhary, Jagmohan Bansal, Suresh Bansal  and Mr Deepak Maini have made contributions out of 10 active members with 11 th member Mr Dhawan has resigned. All other colleagues are requested to pay by Feb 2022

6. To present and pass the Ist Budget for the year 2022-23 along with projects to be undertaken during the year.

 The AGM approved the deficit budget for the next year 2022-23  approximately 9.43 lakhs with carry forward budget of Durban School Project Phase 1 which has not progressed well during the current year. The Dunera roundabout project will also be taken up next year. Trust also approved to hold an Annual medical camp at Dunera on a regular basis with the acceptance of Dr Jeet Singh Pandher as its Project Director. Details of the budget were also approved.

7. To discuss the arrangements for the launch of Jagriti Home No 2 at Darban on 14 Feb,2022:

The members were apprised of the programme and arrangement for the success of the function and handing over of the keys to the beneficiary on 14 th Feb.

8. To review the progress of the Darban School Upgradation Project phase 1:

The school project has not progressed well during the current year necessitating the appointment of Dr Manhas as its project Director who will work along with Mr Nipun Gosawami Architect.

9. To consider the resignation of Trustee Vijay Dhawan and to nominate Mr Joginder singh s/o Mr Fateh Singh Chief Executive Sugar Mills of Pilibhit/Karnal as new Trustee due to his contribution towards jagriti Foundation:

The members approved and welcomed the nomination of Mr Joginder Singh ji as replacement of Mr Vijay Dhawan and placed on record the thanks to Mr Vijay Dhawan for rendering services to the trust during his tenure.

10. To discuss the land and building proposal of the Jagriti Foundation office complex:

Members discussed the possibility to purchase land for the trust at a suitable place to promote their own office and self Help Group activities.

Meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the chair followed by a sumptuous lunch hosted by  Trustee Deepak Maini ji at Hunky Dory to the participants. Members thanked Maini ji for the kind hospitality.
